FIRESIMXR / HOW

VR simulator and XR interface — how training works

Immersive fire safety training for employees, emergency teams and groups. Practise, make decisions and reflect — with a VR simulator and an XR interface connecting training to the physical environment.

THE TRAINING JOURNEY

From first introduction to meaningful practice.

  1. 01

    Set the objective

Understand the audience, risks and learning goals.

  2. 02

    Meet the interface

Get familiar with the headset, movement and interaction.

  3. 03

    Enter the exercise

Practise fire response in VR or use XR in the physical space.

  4. 04

    Reflect and repeat

Review performance, receive feedback and practise again.

FEEL THE EXPERIENCE

A glimpse into the training atmosphere.

Fire, movement and a responsive environment. Get a feel for immersive training, then experience the VR simulator for yourself.

XR / YOUR REAL ENVIRONMENT

An XR interface. Train in your physical environment.

The XR interface combines virtual training elements with the physical space seen through the headset. Participants can practise in a familiar setting and connect the experience to the customer’s workplace, equipment and processes.

  • Virtual training elements within a physical space
  • Content, interfaces and environments tailored to the organization
  • Instructor support and shared practice with trainees

Your content. Your scenario.

A tailored management interface can support scenario creation by the customer or an authorized user: selecting an environment, defining training objectives and configuring the exercise. Editor scope and permissions are agreed during scoping.

INSTRUCTOR & TRAINEES

Instructors and trainees

Shared practice, guidance and reflection on decisions.

Immersive training supports individual practice, instructor-led learning and group activities. Eight training scenarios across office and residential environments focus on hazards, judgement and readiness.

TRAINING & READINESS

Training requirements. Readiness through practice.

Israeli workplace information and training regulations require instruction on relevant employee risks, checking understanding and repeating instruction as needed and at least annually. Fire safety requirements and emergency team training depend on the business, risks and licence conditions.

The simulator complements the training programme. It does not replace certified instruction, physical equipment practice or evacuation drills when required. Match the programme to the requirements applying to your organization.

LEARNING THROUGH EXPERIENCE

Experience. Remember. Perform.

Experiential learning connects recognizing a situation with action and feedback. A comparative 2026 fire-extinguisher study found better practical performance and three-month knowledge retention in VR and AR groups than in the video group.

The study assessed other systems, not FireSimXR. Outcomes depend on content, instruction and participants.
